WHAT: Closed to public effective Monday, September 13, 2004
and until further notice.

WHY: To prepare the Aquarium for the possible arrival
of Hurricane Ivan.
In the event the storm
changes course, we will resume normal operation immediately. Should it hit this area, the return of
normal operation will depend upon the extent of damage, availability of power
